Equip for Excellence

Equip for Excellence is a new initiative developed to meet the needs of national consultants who are directly involved in Bible translation around the globe. There are many advantages in having national consultants. Most, if not all, in-country travel restrictions are eliminated. Communication with the translation teams is smoother and workshops more efficient through use of both national languages and tribal languages. Cultural issues are reduced. Deputation and furlough are not needed, nor is a large travel budget.

What is needed? Funding for translation equipment, software, additional training in biblical languages, linguistics, and translation principles, and provision for their families.
