Caleb’s bold declaration in Joshua 14:11 still thunders with power: “As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me....” At eighty-five years old, this faithful and fearless warrior-saint stood before Joshua and testified that the God who strengthened him at age forty had sustained him for forty-five years since spying out the land of Canaan. Caleb finally received the inheritance (Hebron) that God had promised, and he was ready to conquer it with the same fiery strength he had mustered as a younger man.
Caleb’s story is more than a testimony of grit, patience, and faithful endurance. It is a blazing reminder of God’s unwavering faithfulness. While ten other spies trembled, Caleb trusted. While a generation wandered, Caleb waited. And while decades passed, God’s promise never wavered. For forty-five years, the Lord preserved him, strengthened him, and fulfilled every word spoken through Moses.
Forty-five years ago, God also began another work—the ministry of Bibles International. As Caleb celebrated God’s faithfulness across the decades, so do we. This anniversary marks not just the passage of time, but the steady, unstoppable advance of God’s Word into the hearts of God’s people. We celebrate His enduring truth, our trust in Him amid life’s trials, and His power to transform His people.

For forty-five years, God has entrusted us with the sacred task of translating His Word into the mother tongue of languages worldwide. Since 1981, fifty-one translation projects—full Bibles and New Testaments—have been completed, with forty-seven more underway in fifteen countries. In a world swirling with lies, confusion, and spiritual darkness, God continues to shine His unchanging truth through Scripture. Every verse translated is a victory of light over deception.
Trust
Our translation teams have endured famine, wars, persecution, political upheaval, conflicts, and closed borders. Yet God’s people have pressed on. Their tenacious courage strengthens ours. Their perseverance fuels our own trust in the God who sustains His servants through every trial. For forty-five years, God has proven Himself faithful to Bibles International, guiding at every step and providing for every need.
Transformation
Bible translation is not merely linguistic work—it is the heartbeat of the Great Commission. It is evangelism. It is discipleship. It enables church planting. It is the Spirit of God transforming lives through the power of His Word. For decades, the translated Scriptures have transformed the hearts of individuals, families, churches, tribes, and communities.
