Welcome to Anna Newcomer

Baptist Mid-Missions (BMM) and Bibles International (BI) are happy to welcome Anna Newcomer to our organizations. Anna joined BMM in July 2025 and is looking forward to serving with BI in linguistics and literacy.

Anna came to know the Lord as an eight-year-old and was baptized about a year later. After attending public school, Anna desired a Christian education. The Lord led her to attend Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin. She took classes in missions and Spanish and began considering missions but saw no place she would fit in. After graduation, she was introduced to Bible translation and recognized how blessed we are with our English Bibles and Bible study resources.

Anna connected with BI while searching for a Bible translation organization that matched her theological persuasions. When a BMM missionary came to her church, she had an opportunity to speak with him. He encouraged her to reach out to BI. Realizing she needed further education in order to pursue this field, she enrolled in the Dallas International University linguistics program and finished her master’s degree in 2024.

The same year, she went on a short-term mission trip with BI before applying to join the BMM/BI family. As a linguistics and literacy appointee, Anna is willing to travel and work wherever she is needed, wherever the Lord leads her. Please help us welcome her!
