Leadership

Timothy F.

Director

Rev. Timothy F. became the Director of Bibles International in 2018. His responsibilities include the general oversight and administration of BI as well as shepherding the BI team in its goals as a Bible Society worldwide. Pastor Tim earned a BS in Bible/Pastoral Studies and an MDiv in Pastoral Studies. He is also completing his MA in Biblical Counseling, and is currently working on a Doctor of Intercultural Studies. His 30 years of experience in pastoral ministry include positions as a local church pastor in CT, IN, and OH, and then as a missionary church-planter among the Roma (Gypsy) people of Romania. Pastor Tim, his wife, Sandy, and their family have partnered with Baptist Mid-Missions since 1999. They have four grown sons and five grandchildren. In addition to his BI ministry, Tim also serves as a teacher with BMM’s Pastoral Enrichment Program to develop leaders around the globe. Tim has a passion for strengthening the church worldwide and shepherding the BI family to the glory and honor of God. Bible translation is not just about the printed page, but it is about how the Word of God transforms the hearts of people. "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Phil. 1:6).

Troy M.

Chief Language Consultant

As the Chief Language Consultant, Dr. Troy M. manages both the personnel and the processes associated with BI's translation, literacy, and linguistics projects around the world. Troy earned a BS in Engineering Science/Physics and an MA in Bible before acquiring a PhD in New Testament Interpretation. He completed post-doctoral work in linguistics at Michigan State University and the University of North Dakota, and he is now undergoing training to become a certified biblical counselor. Before partnering with Bibles International in 2007, Dr. Troy held several teaching positions at Cameroon Biblical Seminary, Cameroon, Africa, and in the Bible department of Bob Jones University. Troy is married to Oksana, a Ukrainian who helps him with Russian interpretation; they have two young boys. Troy's passion is for everyone to have clear access to the Word of God. "The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple" (Psa. 119:130).

Joe V.

Projects Manager

A testament to the inscrutable ways of God, Joe’s resumé includes a BA in Missions, an AS in Printing, a BS in Business Administration, years in the printing industry, and even more years in higher ed management. In 2013, this seemingly random educational and work experience clearly proved to be God's way of preparing Joe for the Projects Manager position at BI. Knowing that Isaiah 55:10-11 promises that God's Word will not return empty, Joe is passionate about publishing the Word in every conceivable format: print, audio, digital, and video. Included in his burden for the Bible-less around the world is a special burden for those involved in the process of translating Scripture into their language. Although a daunting task, his department strives to ensure that the national teams receive all the assistance Bibles International can provide.

Barb P.

Office & Finance Manager

After a fulfilling ministry as a high school math teacher and assistant administrator in Peru, South America, God led Barb back to the USA in 2010 to employ her BS and MEd in mathematics education in a different missions ministry. She became the Office & Finance Manager at BI and is now using her talents and abilities in math and administration to oversee BI's financial reporting and facilities. Despite the challenge of developing financial reporting for the home office and BI's affiliate offices around the world, she finds joy and fulfillment in seeing all the numbers fitting together into a comprehensive overview of BI's financial position. Barb's life verse is Philippians 1:6: "Being confident [...] he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." This continues to characterize her ministry approach at BI.
